The chamber music week, Summermusic Lundsberg, takes place every year in the beginning of July, next time 2-12 July 2025, and presents a variety of music styles to a varied audience. Its focus is on the, for a Swedish school, unique organ as well as on young professional musicians from Sweden and abroad. A masterclass for professional singers and advanced singing students (more below) takes place 1-5 July. Some of the concerts are presented both live and livestream. An art and applied arts exhibition and a café hosting the multifaceted entertainment programme, ‘Sommar vid Forsen’, (Summer by the Stream) are other activities during the festival.

Happy 5th anniversary Summermusic Lundsberg!
Many artists from Sweden and abroad have since 2019 performed in your concerts. You have had many visitors from Storfors and Lungsund, and further away, such as homecomers, tourists and chamber music enthusiasts. The art and arts exhibition, the café housing “Sommar vid Forsen” with its music and other encounters certain evenings, have acted as a pleasant place to stop and enjoy the area surrounding the old manor house, once Matlångens Bruk, close to the stream at the south end of lake Hållsjön.
